Balluff have introduced a new Profibus Panel module offering user cost savings and easy installation. Mounted inside the control panel with just four screws, this IP 67 protected module uses a Profibus interface allowing users the advantages of Profibus - no more expensive I/O or analogue cards; outside the cabinet standard 3-core cable routing to
IO-Link input hubs and valve terminal connectors offers users Massive installation cost savings. When used in conjunction with Balluff Sensor Hubs and valve terminal connectors up to 96 digital and analogue I/O's can be connected to the control panel via just four standard 3-core cables, making it ideal for small to medium sized machines and equipment.

Thanks to a separate actuator power source, devices such as hydraulic valves or pneumatic valve units can be switched of separately.

Equipment with Balluff panel modules can be tested before shipping and generally placed in service on-site without the need for electricians or additional wiring effort.
